Coordination and teamwork in a dynamic environment **Job Description:** A service-sector company headquartered in Balmaseda requires a Chef to perform the following duties: Organize and prepare dishes for daily menus, à la carte offerings, and events, ensuring quality, presentation, and timeliness. Place orders according to demand, optimizing purchases from suppliers. Monitor and ensure proper food handling, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations. Manage and organize the work area, maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-organized kitchen at all times. Assist with receiving, storing, and controlling raw materials. Coordinate and collaborate with other kitchen and dining room staff. Participate in special events, adapting to varying workloads. **Mandatory Requirements** Culinary training from a hospitality school or similar institution. Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or event catering. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team. Cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. **Desirable Requirements** Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Residence in the Enkarterri region. **Working Hours and Schedule / Contract Type:** Indefinite-term employment contract. 40 hours per week, with balanced and pre-planned working hours. **Salary** According to collective agreement.
