Description
At **Sener Mobility**, we design solutions for urban and railway transportation, focusing on Railway Signaling Engineering projects (new installations and renewal of existing lines).
We seek engineers who share our vocation for technically oriented work in Railway Signaling. Candidates who wish to make an impact by delivering solutions that improve quality of life and foster social progress—designing the transportation systems of the future.
Specifically, we aim to expand our team working on engineering projects related to this field, with the possibility to do so from our offices in Bilbao, Madrid, or Barcelona.
**By joining Sener, you will find...**
A team composed of highly versatile engineering professionals (Telecommunications, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.), with diverse backgrounds—enabling you to develop an interesting and enriching perspective within top-tier engineering, i.e., innovative and highly technologically complex international projects.
We are a distinctly international company, while preserving our roots as a family-owned business; here, you can build your career in an open, approachable professional environment that champions new technologies, digitalization, and the self-development of its professionals.
**What do you need to fit this role?**
We seek candidates holding an Engineering degree (Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar), with over five years’ experience drafting conventional and ERTMS signaling projects within ADIF environments, and a high level of English proficiency.
Knowledge of ERTMS systems, interlockings, track detection systems, fixed and onboard equipment is required. Knowledge of CBTC, driverless lines, ATS (Automatic Train Supervision), CTC, etc., is desirable.
**What will your responsibilities be?**
* Analyze technical and functional requirements of railway signaling projects in accordance with ADIF regulations and applicable standards (CENELEC, Spanish railway standards, etc.).
* Carry out signaling engineering across its various phases (tender, basic, and detailed), including:
+ Interlocking diagrams
+ Functional and wiring drawings
+ Control and operational logic
+ Definition of interfaces with other systems (telecommunications, power supply, traffic control, etc.)
* Prepare and review signaling technical documentation: reports, specifications, justification calculations, and procedures.
* Technically coordinate the integration of signaling with other railway subsystems, ensuring overall system coherence.
* Participate in defining and validating signaling system architectures (electronic interlockings, ERTMS/ASFA, train protection systems, etc.).
* Interact with clients to resolve technical comments, attend follow-up meetings, and present solutions.
* Conduct internal quality reviews and verify engineering compliance with project procedures.
* Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
* Manage interfaces with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
