At LORTEK, a Technology Center affiliated with BRTA, we are looking for a **Data Analytics Researcher**, whose main responsibilities will include research and knowledge transfer in the following areas: + Development of research projects in data analytics for industrial processes. + Development and implementation of activities focused on data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies. + Signal processing, data analytics, development of classifiers and predictive models, or visualization and interpretation of results obtained from data-based models + Participation in multisectoral projects developed with clients and in national and European R\+D projects in collaboration with other members of the group and researchers from other domains at LORTEK + Development of new proposals, collaborating in or leading the management and execution of tasks, interacting with clients and institutions, and contributing to the drafting of deliverables and scientific articles **WHAT WE OFFER** - Interesting personal and professional career development - Ongoing technical training - Flexible schedule and working hours - Direct participation in the world of research and industrial enterprises - Being part of a young and enthusiastic team in a positive work environment - Participation in decision-making - Initial employment contract with prospects of consolidation as a cooperative member **Required Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, or equivalent, plus a Master’s degree related to the field. * A Doctorate degree will be considered favorably. **Experience:** * Experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and ML. * Experience in other technologies—such as sensing, computer vision, industrial communications—will be considered favorably. * Prior experience in R\+D projects with companies will be considered favorably. **Knowledge:** * Data processing * Data visualization * Statistical analysis * Descriptive and predictive analytics techniques * Machine Learning * AI system integration * Python, Matlab, C/C\+\+, code management: GIT, gitea, etc. **Languages:** * Proficiency in spoken and written English. * Basque **Competencies:** * Leadership and client communication skills (industrial sector) * Responsibility and commitment * Flexibility and multidisciplinarity * Research-oriented mindset * Ability to coordinate with other researchers in the fields of Joining Technologies and Additive Manufacturing Technologies. * Initiative to propose solutions and ability to implement them * Autonomy in fulfilling commitments (quality, deadlines, etc.) * Orientation toward generating and transferring technological solutions
