You will develop the software enabling our machines to inspect metal parts without destroying them. **ABOUT US** At LINQ, we help industrial corporations optimize quality control of metal parts using our turnkey non-destructive inspection equipment. Today, many plants still validate critical processes — such as heat treatment — via destructive inspections: they remove a part from the production line, cut it open, and analyze it to determine whether the process succeeded. This method entails: * Hours of waiting * Material waste * Risk of undetected errors Our machines enable inspection of these parts without destruction, measuring electromagnetic properties to estimate whether they meet required mechanical properties. * In seconds instead of hours * With a drastic reduction in inspection costs * Without stopping production To perform this non-destructive inspection, programming the software for acquisition, conditioning, and interpretation of electromagnetic signals is essential. **YOUR MISSION** We seek a software engineer to program, in MATLAB, the software that enables our machines to inspect metal parts without destroying them. This software handles: * Acquisition of electromagnetic signals from measurement hardware * Conditioning and processing of those signals * Application of interpretation and classification algorithms * Generation of inspection results usable in industrial environments Within the engineering team, your work will focus on ensuring the system is reliable, repeatable, and maintainable. **YOUR DAY-TO-DAY** * Program MATLAB-based software used in our equipment * Develop signal acquisition and processing modules * Implement interpretation and classification algorithms (including Machine Learning techniques where applicable) * Participate in integration with the measurement system: sensors, electronics, and acquisition systems * Conduct commissioning and validation at our customers’ production plants, including international projects involving occasional travel **WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU?** We envision a candidate who meets the following criteria: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering * 0–3 years of experience (or recent graduate) * A Master’s degree (in Electronic Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Electrical Engineering) is valued but not mandatory * Knowledge and experience in MATLAB programming and algorithms * High level of English proficiency, essential for an international industrial environment * Ability to communicate fluently with internal teams and, occasionally, with clients We also value professional or academic experience in any of the following areas: * Industrial systems and control (PLCs) * Electronics and instrumentation (PCB assembly, signal acquisition) * Low-voltage electrical installations * Design and interpretation of electrical schematics * Materials science * Electromagnetism * A second language (French or German) **WHAT ELSE WILL WE VALUE?** * Autonomy to learn and make decisions without requiring everything to be predefined * Ability to work under pressure in demanding contexts * Willingness to travel for occasional 2–3-week assignments abroad * Professional ambition — as you grow, LINQ grows * Genuine commitment to the project — at LINQ, this is non-negotiable **WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU AT LINQ?** You will join a rapidly scaling, technology-based industrial SME with proprietary products and top-tier industrial clients.
