Logistics Technician (M/F)

At CTR Mediterráneo, we are seeking to hire a **Logistics Technician** to lead the planning, coordination, and optimization of inbound and outbound waste flows, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety across all logistics operations. The position includes **comprehensive management of the company's own transport fleet**, as well as planning and monitoring of all trips using the corporate IT system. **Main responsibilities** * Plan and coordinate **waste logistics flows** (receiving, storage, and dispatch). * Manage comprehensively the **in-house fleet**, consisting of: * + Trailer + Tautliner + Octopus truck + Tankers + Bins + Hooklifts and container carriers * Organize, assign, and supervise all **transport trips and routes**, ensuring efficiency and traceability. * **Plan and record logistics operations in the management software used at the facility**, guaranteeing real-time data updates and reliability. * Optimize the use of internal and external resources (subcontracted carriers). * Manage customer service and resolve any arising conflicts. * Monitor compliance with **environmental, transport, and safety regulations**. * Define and track **logistics KPIs** (costs, lead times, fleet utilization, productivity). * Lead the logistics team and coordinate with plant operations. * Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of logistics processes. **We offer** * Employment with an established environmental-sector company. * A stable project with direct impact on operations. * Professional development and ongoing training. **Education** * Higher Vocational Training Cycle or equivalent * Additional training in waste management and Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) is desirable. **Experience** * Prior experience in logistics management within industrial environments is desirable. * Prior experience in managing an in-house fleet and transport planning is desirable. **Knowledge and skills** * Route planning and operational transport control. * Proficiency in ERP/logistics systems and planning tools. * Knowledge of transport regulations (ADR certification is desirable). * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. * Teamwork capability and proactive attitude. **Preferred qualifications** * Specific knowledge of waste transportation. * Experience managing mixed fleets (in-house \+ subcontracted).
