Instead, you will be **on standby** outside of standard working hours, meaning you must be reachable and available to log in and resolve critical system incidents only if they arise. * **Frequency:** The approximate rotation frequency is **one full week (7 consecutive days) every 3 to 4 months**, depending on the team's internal calendar. **What You Will Do** * Develop and maintain Java\-based microservices using Spring Boot. * Design and implement event\-driven solutions with Apache Kafka. * Build scalable and resilient backend services. * Apply functional programming principles to improve code quality and maintainability. * Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. * Participate in software design discussions and technical decision\-making. * Create and execute automated tests following TDD and/or BDD practices. * Collaborate with product, architecture, and development teams in Agile (Scrum) environments. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best development practices. **Qualifications** Required: * Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar software development role. * Minimum 4 years of hands\-on experience with **Apache Kafka** (mandatory). * Strong experience with **Java 8\+** * Experience building microservices with **Spring Boot**. * Knowledge of functional programming concepts. * Experience with JPA. * Experience with TDD and/or BDD testing methodologies. * Software design knowledge and application of design principles. * Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or MongoDB. * Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. * English level B2 or higher.
