Office work for validation of hydrological data **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire a Technician to support hydrological information tasks. **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Fieldwork consisting of measuring river flows, velocities, and water levels using wading gauging and acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) cross-sections * Office work consisting of validating and importing field gauging data into a hydrological database **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements must be substantiated by attaching the following documents, as applicable, in the “Annexes” section of the application (or during the process): * Official academic qualification or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract enabling verification and certification of the required professional experience. * Academic internship annexes enabling verification and certification of the required academic experience, where applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Spanish Baccalaureate (BUP/COU), FP I or CFGM, FP II or CFGS (qualification officially recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities), or 6 months of experience (professional, academic, or both) accumulated in the candidate’s profession/in the functions of this position. ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Daily availability for travel within the jurisdiction of the Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederation, covering the provinces of Lugo, Asturias, and Cantabria. * Valid Spanish Class B driving license, currently in force. * Availability to work outdoors near watercourses. **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Additional Meritorious Factors** * Accredited course on sensors and telemetry of at least 5 hours * Accredited course on occupational risk prevention of at least 20 hours * Demonstrable experience in handling telemetry equipment and software * Demonstrable fieldwork experience in flow control, river sampling, etc. **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 9 months, if applicable. + Possibility of a trainee contract will be assessed depending on applications received. In such case, a fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable by another 6 months if applicable. Should a trainee/formative contract be formalized, the candidate’s qualification must be related to the duties of the position offered, and activities performed under the trainee contract must be consistent with the qualification, enabling acquisition of professional practice appropriate to the candidate’s academic level. + Full-time working schedule + Expected start date: February.
