The Alda Hotels chain, originating from Santiago de Compostela, with over 60 accommodations across northern Spain, needs a "Receptionist" for its hotel in Ponferrada with the following responsibilities: Reporting to the Regional Manager of your area of operation, you will be responsible for: managing direct reservations and those through operators, check-in and check-out, providing continuous information and assistance during the guest's stay, as well as handling direct payments from guests or through the payment methods specified by each operator. **Responsibilities:** \- Provide all types of assistance and information to accommodation guests. \- Perform *check-in* and *check-out* procedures for guests. \- Provide all kinds of information regarding the accommodation. \- Maintain incident tracking: record incidents and prioritize them for resolution. \- Handle complaints and claims. \- Perform administrative and computer tasks: know which rooms are available, manage reservations, and arrival forecasts. \- Actively participate in maintenance, cleaning, laundry control tasks, as well as breakfast service if applicable. \- Daily cash closing and secure cash box control. **Minimum Education:** \- Vocational Training in Hospitality and Tourism **Minimum Experience:** \- At least 1 year **Required Knowledge:** \- English, level B2 \- Vocational Training or Higher Degree in Tourism \- Digital skills \- Customer service \- Conflict management \- Self-control \- Sales skills \- Organizational ability \- Administrative work **Minimum Requirements:** \- Communication \- Teamwork and collaboration \- Results orientation \- Immediate availability \- Availability to work weekends **We Offer:** \- Salary according to collective agreement \- 30 working hours per week \- Temporary contract (to cover a leave) **Start Date:** Mid-August Position Type: Part-time Expected Hours: 30 hours per week Schedule: * Weekend availability required * Rotating shifts Application Questions: * Do you have training in tourism? * What is your availability to start? * Do you reside in Ponferrada?
