AFTERNOON SHIFT RESPONSIBLE FOR CAFETERIA

Description

You will be responsible for the afternoon shift at a cafeteria located in Pla de l'Estany. • Coordinate and supervise the team during the afternoon/night shift. • Ensure proper operational functioning of the service. • Organize daily tasks for dining area, bar, terrace, and common areas. • Supervise service quality and customer attention. • Resolve daily operational incidents. • Monitor order, cleanliness, and overall establishment image. • Place orders and track stock levels according to service needs. • Perform cash closing and ensure correct use of the payment system. • Ensure compliance with internal group procedures. • Coordinate with the morning shift supervisor and with the Services and Operations Coordinator. • Participate in training and integration of new staff members. • Provide occasional support to other areas of the establishment when required by service demands. * Minimum 2 years’ experience. • Previous experience as supervisor, assistant supervisor, or shift leader in bars, cafeterias, or fast-service restaurants. • Experience coordinating work teams. • Knowledge of daily operations in bars, cafeterias, or fast-service restaurants. • Ability to manage services under high workload conditions. • Experience handling cash register, POS systems, and cash closing procedures. • Highly operational, solution-oriented, and service-focused profile. • Ability to establish order, prioritize tasks, and maintain control under pressure. • Approachable, natural leadership grounded in personal example. • Strong communication skills with team members and group supervisors. • Committed, stable individual eager to assume responsibility. * LOWER SECONDARY EDUCATION DEGREE * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: • Previous experience as supervisor, assistant supervisor, or shift leader in bars, cafeterias, or fast-service restaurants. • Experience coordinating work teams.
