You will be key in helping build profitable relationships with brokers and insureds and your role will fully support and comply with the company’s objectives and standards. **Responsibilities:** * Analyse data relating to an account: study financial, regional/national economic trends and industry conditions in the assigned underwriting discipline. * Follow underwriting guidelines and submit underwriting, pricing and negotiations recommendations to the underwriting committee of Transaction Risk Insurance. * Autonomously run the underwriting process of complex M\&A insurance projects. * Draft, negotiate and adapt policy terms for the specific risks and challenges an M\&A transaction presents. * Coordinate and oversee the performance of external legal counsel representing the company in each M\&A deal. * Contribute to the professional upbringing of peers and more junior colleagues. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities. * Manage and grow the book of business. * Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, lawyers, private equity firms, deal principals and colleagues from Tokio Marine HCC offices worldwide. * Attend off\-site conferences, trade shows, seminars and meetings. * Coordinate and/or participate in special projects including underwriting standards, best practices and legal compliance. **Requirements:** * Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in a role focused on transactions, e.g. law firm or corporate legal department, advisory roles in financial services, private equity; or relevant experience in TRI underwriting. * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law. * Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Spanish, Italian and/or Portuguese are a must.
