Database Reliability Engineer

As a **Database Reliability Engineer**, you will be the go-to database expert within our Digital & Cloud projects. You will collaborate with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability, performance, and security in production environments. **Main Responsibilities** * **Administer and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases** (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka) * **Improve the reliability, performance, and security of databases** used by our clients' applications * **Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis** and performance troubleshooting * Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to **optimize queries, indexing, and data access patterns** * **Automate recurring tasks** (health checks, configuration validation, backup verification, monitoring, and reporting) * Enhance **observability through monitoring, alerts, and dashboards** * **Contribute to security hardening**, access reviews, and compliance and data protection activities (encryption, retention, controlled deletion) **Profile** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * **Solid experience as a DBA, database engineer, platform engineer, or database reliability engineer** (~3 years in a technical reference role) * Minimum 2 years administering PostgreSQL/MariaDB or SQL Server in production environments * Experience with at least two database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka) * Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux, and Unix Shell * Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or others) * **Fluent English;** additional languages are a plus **What we offer** * High-impact international projects in data and cloud domains. * A multicultural, innovation-oriented environment. * A professional development plan and access to technical training. * A hybrid/remote work model, depending on project and country. * A competitive compensation package aligned with your experience.
