At KROMSCHROEDER, we are expanding our team and seeking to hire a Technical Service Specialist with solid experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment for our facility in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). For over 90 years, KROMSCHROEDER has been delivering solutions for measurement, regulation, control, and utilization of combustible gases, contributing to the evolution of the gas industry. What will be your mission? You will be responsible for the repair, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, and verification of telemetry, monitoring, and industrial instrumentation equipment used in gas regulation and metering stations. What will you be responsible for? * Diagnosis, repair, verification, and configuration of electronic equipment. * Management of electronic equipment and spare parts. * Supervision and analysis of cathodic protection for gas networks. * Remote and on-site technical support and training for customers. * Preparation of technical reports and documentation. * Installation and maintenance of telemetry, metering, and industrial instrumentation equipment in workshops and at customer sites. * Field diagnosis and resolution of technical incidents. * Design and assembly of electrical distribution and control panels. What are we looking for? * Education: Medium or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a field service technician, industrial maintenance technician, instrumentation technician, or similar role. * Analytical capability and problem-solving orientation. * Strong customer service orientation. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365 office applications. * Valid driver’s license (Category B). * Willingness to travel nationally (approximately 15% of working time) and occasionally abroad. * Cathodic protection knowledge or experience is highly valued. * Experience in repairing electronic circuit boards (PCBs) is desirable. * Experience in the natural gas, biomethane, or renewable gases sector—and familiarity with telemetry systems, industrial communications, and automation—is desirable.
