Are you passionate about software development, do you have an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, and would you like to be part of a **multidisciplinary team on a leading industrial automation project?** At **Oxigent**, we are looking for a **Software Engineer** to join a major global development team of a **leading multinational company in automation technology.** What will your main responsibilities be? * **Design and Development**: Design and implement functionality for project requirements, translating them into software specifications, features, and user stories to evolve the platform. * **Quality and Excellence**: Ensure optimal software performance, quality, and responsiveness. Identify bottlenecks or bugs and design solutions to mitigate them. * **Code Quality**: Actively participate in code/design reviews (code reviews), unit testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. * **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Interact with various stakeholders to improve product quality and positively influence timelines, features, and designs. * **Continuous Innovation**: Acquire and implement knowledge of new technologies that add value to the project. What qualifications will you need? * **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, demonstrating solid responsibility across the entire software development lifecycle (from design through post\-release) following industry best practices. * **Languages**: Fluent English (C1\), essential for working in this technical and globally distributed development environment. * **Strong Microsoft ecosystem expertise**: C\#, .NET, and desktop application development (WPF is a plus). * **Solid software engineering fundamentals**: SOLID principles, clean architecture, and scalable system design. * Design patterns, maintainable code, and modern workflows **(CI/CD, DevOps).** * Familiarity with **cloud platforms** (Azure or AWS) and concepts of distributed systems. * Experience or familiarity with **modern front\-end technologies**, especially React, and integration with backend services. * Comfortable working with **modern development tools** (AI-assisted coding / Copilots, “vibe coding” practices, rapid prototyping).
