





**Location**: Bilbao **City**: Zierbena (Bizkaia) **Province**: Basque Country / Euskal Herria (ES\-PV) **Country**: Spain (ES) **Requisition Number**: 42665 As a **Biodiesel Operator**, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and control of manufacturing processes and auxiliary services (Utilities and Biodiesel) in your work area, strictly following instructions, standards, procedures, and specifications. This role aims to guarantee operational continuity, product quality, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards. **Main Functions and Tasks:** * Operation and Control of Manufacturing Processes: + Continuous monitoring of the proper functioning of corresponding manufacturing processes (e.g., storage of raw and finished materials, transesterification, washing, rectification, dryers, glycerin concentration, cooling towers, wastewater treatment plant, chemical discharges, and similar). + Monitoring and control of critical process parameters, making necessary corrections to ensure quality and efficiency. + Operating and controlling manufacturing processes using SCADA systems and other control interfaces. * Operation and Control of Auxiliary Services (Utilities): + Control and operation of cogeneration systems, gas boilers, waste gas recovery boilers, and natural gas internal combustion engines. + Control and operation of energy recovery circuits. + Control and operation of water treatment plants (wastewater, reverse osmosis), including physicochemical, biological, and sludge thickening processes. + Control and operation of compressors and compressed air treatment systems, network water systems, and natural gas systems. + Perform re-energizing operations in high-voltage installations. * Materials and Logistics Management: + Supervise unloading, loading of tankers, and product transfers to end customers according to orders. + Chemical unloading and management of raw and finished materials. * Quality, Safety, and Environment: + Perform basic physicochemical controls during the manufacturing process according to instructions and manuals. + Take samples and record data in accordance with established procedures. + Apply safety lockout and tagging procedures (LOTO), placing equipment in safe condition for maintenance work. + Know and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, environmental, and safety regulations for which training has been provided. + Understand responsibilities regarding critical stages and parameters to ensure the production of safe products. * Maintenance and Deviation Detection: + Carry out inspections and cleaning interventions on equipment and machinery when required by the process status, under shift supervisor supervision. + Collect and record plant performance data, detect deviations, and report them to superiors. **Education and Requirements:** **Minimum Education:** * Vocational Training Level 1 / Level 2 in Electronics / Electrotechnics / Chemical Plant Operator or similar titles. * Medium or Higher Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics or equivalent. **Additional Desirable Qualifications:** * Technical Engineering in Mechanical or Electronics fields. * Electrical knowledge and experience with high-voltage installations. **Experience and Specific Skills:** * Previous experience in industrial process operations. * Experience in steam generation facilities and water treatment systems. * Industrial Boiler Operator License (mandatory). * Computer skills at user level. * Knowledge of measuring instruments (meters, converters, etc.). * Familiarity with quality, environment, and safety policies or any other relevant to the position. * Certifications: Forklift Operator, ATEX, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Food Handler.
