Currently, as a recruitment consultancy, we are searching for our client a **Refrigeration Technician / Maintenance Technician** to join their technical team. We seek a candidate with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC installations and systems, accustomed to both fault diagnosis and comprehensive equipment maintenance. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance. * Diagnosing and repairing faults in refrigeration systems. * Inspecting and maintaining air conditioning units, cold rooms, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. * Replacing components such as compressors, fans, valves, filters, or sensors. * Checking pressures, temperatures, and electrical consumption. * Detecting refrigerant leaks and charging/recovering refrigerant gases. * Commissioning and fine-tuning installations. * Supporting basic electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks for installations. **REQUIREMENTS** * Prior experience as a refrigeration technician and/or maintenance technician. * Knowledge of electricity and mechanics, especially in HVAC systems. * Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. * Problem-solving mindset, autonomy, and ability to work effectively in a team. * Valid driver's license (Class B) **What does the company offer?** * Indefinite-term contract, full-time. * Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:30 h; Friday until 14:30 h. * Remuneration is negotiable based on experience and expertise provided. * Opportunity to join an established company within the installation sector. * Positive work environment and professional stability.
