At **Sener**, we aim to incorporate a RAMS Engineer into our Las Arenas office.
RAMS engineering (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) ensures system service quality by applying established engineering concepts, methods, tools, and techniques throughout the system lifecycle. It serves as both a qualitative and quantitative indicator of the extent to which a system can be relied upon, maintained, and operated according to specifications.
**Sener** has extensive experience leading RAMS engineering implementation in Infrastructure and Transportation projects, as well as in other sectors (power generation plants, ports, and even sports stadiums). In light of the increased number of such projects in 2021, we seek RAMS Engineers who share our commitment to technically rigorous work linked to Safety and Availability engineering for large-scale projects.
**Your Responsibilities:**
* Coordination of Safety and RAM management at the overall system level — i.e., at the integration level.
* Preparation and management of the System-level RAMS Management Plan. This Plan shall define the high-level guidelines to be adopted by each subsystem regarding RAMS management.
* Establishment of the RAMS Policy jointly with the Client and demonstration of its implementation.
* Identification of any deviations from this RAMS Policy and reporting them for acceptance.
* Establishment and/or updating/modification of system-level RAM and Safety objectives and requirements, and assignment thereof to various subsystems (in cases where such objectives and requirements have not already been defined in the relevant lot’s specific tender documents).
* Conducting a system-level hazard identification and documenting results in the corresponding PHA.
* Conducting a system-level IHA.
* Conducting a system-level OHSA.
* Preparation and management of the system-level Hazard Log, including resolution of identified hazards.
* Preparation of System Safety Cases at various stages.
* Conducting RAM analyses at the system level.
* Consolidation of RAM analyses at the system level.
* RAMS evaluation and validation of the System.
* Identification of information, requirements, actions, etc., necessary to operate the system safely.
* Supervision and review of subsystem-level Safety and RAM assurance activities, including verification that appropriate methodologies are applied.
* Management of RAMS demonstration.
* Management of all RAMS interface-related matters among different subsystems.
* Support, reporting, and communication with the Client’s representative.
* Achievement of all RAMS objectives.
* Interfaces with stakeholders.
* Coordination with the Integration ISA.
* Liaison with appropriate authorities to obtain Safety Certification.
**What We Expect From You:**
* Completion of an engineering degree.
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in railway RAMS.
* High proficiency in English.
* Knowledge of producing RAMS deliverables in accordance with international standards (EN 50126, 50128, 50129, IEC 61508), best practices, and aligned with Client requirements, plans, and procedures.
