We are seeking a KITCHEN ASSISTANT for our HESPERIA BILBAO HOTEL located in Biscay. What will you do on a daily basis? * Participate autonomously and responsibly in kitchen preparations under supervision. * Carry out basic preparations, as well as any other culinary preparations assigned to you. * Prepare dishes for which you have received appropriate training. * Collaborate with chefs in their respective tasks. * Prepare and hygienize food, as well as ensure proper stock control and storage. * Perform auxiliary tasks in product preparation. * Clean kitchen utensils, machinery, and restaurant and kitchen equipment, as well as kitchen areas. * Maintain and care for hotel materials in good condition. * Inspect kitchen tools and equipment, reporting any issues. * Comply with hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining high personal and workplace hygiene standards. * Adhere to the company’s quality, environmental, and occupational risk prevention standards, and collaborate with the hotel in their implementation and continuous improvement. What do you need for this position? * Vocational qualification in Culinary Arts, Occupational Risk Prevention & Food Handling Training * Minimum 6 months’ experience. * Knowledge of basic kitchen tasks, including food processing and preparation. * Proficiency in Spanish.
