




Job Summary: Alda Hotels is seeking a Hotel Receptionist in Avilés to manage reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and provide continuous assistance and information to guests. Active participation in maintenance and service control Alda Hotels, a hotel chain originating from Santiago de Compostela with over 90 accommodations across northern Spain, requires a "Hotel Receptionist" for one of its hotels in Avilés. The following responsibilities will be carried out in this position: Reporting to the Regional Manager for your operational area, you will be responsible for: managing direct reservations and those made through operators, check-in and check-out procedures, providing continuous information and assistance during the guest's stay, as well as direct billing to guests or via the billing models specified by each operator. **Responsibilities:** \- Provide all types of assistance and information to accommodation guests. \- Perform guest *check-in* and *check-out*. \- Provide all types of information regarding the accommodation. \- Maintain an incident log: record incidents and prioritize them for resolution. \- Handle complaints and claims. \- Perform administrative and IT-related tasks: monitor room availability, reservations, and arrival forecasts. \- Actively participate in maintenance, cleaning, laundry control, and breakfast services, where applicable. \- Perform daily cash reconciliation and manage cash in the safe. \- Carry out security shifts. **Minimum Experience:** \- 1–2 years in similar positions **Required Knowledge:** \- Vocational Training (FP) in Hospitality and Tourism \- Digital competencies: ability to quickly learn new tools \- Customer service orientation and appropriate communication skills for effective front-desk service \- Adaptability \- Commercial skills \- Organizational ability \- Problem-solving capability **Minimum Requirements:** \- Communication: appropriate communication skills for effective front-desk customer service \- Teamwork and conflict management \- Frustration tolerance \- Organizational ability \- Vocational Training (FP) in Hospitality and Tourism At Alda, we promote inclusive practices; therefore, in all our processes we value and consider candidates with disabilities.
