Join a multidisciplinary team in the space sector As Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and optimizing all production operations, ensuring compliance with approved production plans in terms of quality, schedule, cost, safety, and full traceability, in accordance with the strict standards of the aerospace industry. You will play a key role in aligning production execution with satellite program commitments, working closely with planning, manufacturing engineering, quality, maintenance, and other key stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, decision\-making capability, and a continuous improvement mindset in a high\-reliability manufacturing context. Vacancy type: Permanent Location: Málaga **Responsibilities** You will be engaged in all production management activities related to aerospace manufacturing projects, including but not limited to: * Lead the Production area, ensuring correct execution of the approved production plan and fulfillment of customer and satellite program commitments in terms of quality, schedule, cost, safety, and traceability. * Coordinate and align Production Planning, Production Control, Process Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams. * Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace regulations and standards (AS/EN 9100, ECSS, IPC, ESD, clean room requirements). * Guarantee proper management of human, technical, and material resources within the production plant. * Manage high\-impact production incidents such as bottlenecks, major non\-conformities, and critical delays. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes. * Define, monitor, and analyze production KPIs. * Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and certification body audits. * Promote compliance with safety, cleanliness, and environmental control standards on the shop floor. **Operational Management** * Approve production sequences and allocation of critical resources. * Validate contingency plans in case of supply chain disruptions or equipment failures. * Authorize production replanning when significant deviations occur. **Team Management** * Lead and develop middle management roles (shift leaders, production control). * Define and assess technical training and certification needs. * Evaluate team performance and working climate within the production area. **Quality and Compliance** * Ensure full traceability of materials, processes, and finished products. * Guarantee compliance with documentation and records required by space programs. **Continuous Improvement** * Perform root cause analysis of production incidents (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA). * Implement improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality, and reliability. * Participate in digitalization initiatives (MES, automation, SPC). **Education and Requirements** * University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. * A Master’s degree in Industrial Organization, Manufacturing, or related fields is valued. * Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments with similar processes (batch production, electronics, high\-reliability products), including leadership roles. * High level of autonomy with respect to procedures, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. * English level B2 minimum, C1 preferred**,** for technical and professional communication. **Technical Competencies** * Strong knowledge of industrial and aerospace manufacturing processes. * Production planning, control, and resource management. * Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and standards (AS/EN 9100, ECSS, IPC). * Understanding of ESD control, clean room operations, and contamination control. * KPI definition and production performance monitoring. * Management of non\-conformities and corrective actions. * Traceability, documentation control, and product acceptance in regulated environments. * Continuous improvement tools (Lean, 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa). * Familiarity with MES, SPC, and manufacturing automation tools. **Soft Skills** * Strong leadership and people management capabilities. * High attention to detail and strong quality mindset. * Results\-oriented, structured, and proactive approach. * Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making skills. * Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. * Clear, professional communication style. * Responsible attitude and continuous improvement mindset. **What we offer** * On site role based in Málaga, Spain. * Immediate start date. * Joining a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team. * Working on exciting international projects in the space sector. * Relocation package for national and international mobility. * Opportunities for professional development and career growth. **Ready to Shape the Future of the Space Industry?** If you’re passionate about electronics and space technology and want to join a fast\-growing, innovation\-driven company working on high\-impact international projects, DHV Technology is your place. **Apply now and be part of the future of space.
