COBOL AS/400 Developer THE PROJECT You will join a team of Developers working from our offices in Bilbao for a leading client in the Food sector, on software development and application maintenance projects. Occasional on-site visits to the client may be required for onboarding training and/or project launch meetings. **YOUR ROLE:** As a COBOL Developer in the AS/400 environment, you will participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for software development projects and/or maintenance of the client's business applications. **Your responsibilities include:** 1\. Gathering requirements from client stakeholders 2\. Designing and preparing technical solution proposals 3\. Developing and/or leading the implementation of solutions 4\. Identifying areas for improvement to achieve more efficient and robust applications. REQUIREMENTS **PRIMARY TECHNOLOGIES:** You will work in IBM iSeries AS/400 environments; therefore, technical autonomy using the following is essential: 1\. IBM iSeries AS/400 environment 2\. COBOL 3\. DB2. 4\. SQL transactions. **VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE:** 1\. RPG IV – Free RPG 2\. CL 3\. WebQuery 4\. IBMi APIs 5\.
