MAINTENANCE MANAGER

CIC energiGUNE is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate the proper functioning, availability, and safety of its technical facilities, laboratories, and research spaces. The selected candidate will lead a team of 3 maintenance officers, coordinate suppliers and subcontractors, and serve as the technical reference for interventions, laboratory renovations, and critical incidents. Therefore, as part of our commitment to inclusion, we accept applications regardless of gender identity, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, or age.* **Essential Requirements:** * Technical engineering degree / Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or Higher Vocational Training (FP Superior) in technical fields, with equivalent experience. * Over 5 years’ experience in maintenance of industrial facilities, laboratories, technological centers, hospitals, pilot plants, or other complex technical environments. * Solid knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and HVAC systems. * Operational knowledge of automation, technical gases, and fire detection systems. * Experience coordinating technical teams, suppliers, or subcontractors. * Strong sensitivity towards safety, risk prevention, and regulatory compliance. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Desirable Requirements:** * Prior experience in research centers, laboratories, or facilities with critical operations. * Experience in laboratory renovations or adaptations. * Additional training in occupational health and safety (OHS), coordination of business activities, thermal installations, low-voltage systems, fire protection systems (PCI), ATEX, or technical gases. * Technical English for reading documentation and manuals, or basic communication with suppliers. * Experience managing maintenance contracts or monitoring departmental performance indicators. **Competencies:** * Operational leadership and ability to coordinate a small technical team. * Technical judgment to diagnose, prioritize, and escalate incidents. * Organizational and planning skills. * Decision-making under pressure. * Clear communication with internal users, suppliers, and contractors. * Service orientation and commitment to continuity of scientific activity. * Safety culture, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
