Continuous training in aerospace processes and management tools Job Request ID: 25168 Country: Spain Job Location: El Barracón, 1 Barakaldo, Vizcaya / Bizkaia 48910 Calle La Naval, nº 4 Sestao, Vizcaya / Bizkaia 48910 **LEVEL 3 X-RAY (F/M/X)** **What is the objective of this vacancy?** Amidst the Foundry Business’s growth phase—and given that Investment Casting is a key process for ITP Aero Group—we are seeking a Level 3 X-ray technician to fill positions across our plants in Barakaldo, Sestao, and Zamudio. We seek a responsible, bold, proactive, and committed individual eager to learn, who enjoys challenges, is accustomed to teamwork, and is available for occasional travel. The candidate will join a young, multidisciplinary team with an excellent working atmosphere. **What profile are we seeking?** Education: * Certification as Level 3 Radiography, preferably under EN4179/NAS410/ISO9712. Knowledge of digital radiography techniques will be valued. Preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or equivalent. A Master’s degree will be valued. * Experience and knowledge in: Non-destructive testing (NDT), preferably within the aerospace sector. Prior knowledge of Investment Casting will be valued. * Languages: English at B1 level or equivalent. * Soft Skills: Teamwork, proactivity, boldness, commitment, decision-making ability, customer orientation, and goal achievement. **This position interests you if…* * You enjoy interaction with the production area and leading the development and industrialization of manufacturing processes. * You are proactive and interested in learning and continuous improvement. * You wish to work in a team undergoing constant learning and evolution. **What are your main responsibilities?* * Interpret standards, codes, or other contractual documents governing NDT methods used by ITPAero. * Assume technical responsibility for NDT facilities and operations. * Select the appropriate method and technique for a specific inspection. * Prepare and verify the suitability of procedures for the method. * Review and approve manufacturing sequences to ensure correct placement of NDT operations. * Approve procedures and other work instructions related to the method. * Possess general knowledge of other NDT methods, product manufacturing, and inspection technologies used by ITPAero. * Organize, conduct, and lead theoretical/practical training, examinations, certification, and requalification of personnel. * Perform NDT for part acceptance. * Conduct internal audits and support customer audits. * **What training will you receive to perform the job?** You will be trained in: * Manufacturing processes for aerospace castings. * Management and capture of Product Improvements. * Product and process management tools and software. * Process data analysis tools (SPC and others). * Quality management of aerospace parts. * Lean Manufacturing concepts. **Who will you work with?** You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team across various areas: other NDT and special processes, production, other process engineering departments, quality (MQAs and SQAs), planning, and casting technology. **Where will you work?** You will work at ITP Aero Castings’ Barakaldo and Sestao plants, with occasional travel to the ADMIRE center in Zamudio. **If you have questions regarding the job content,** please do not hesitate to contact me via email: alonso.peral@gmail.com
