




Job Summary: We are seeking a Physiotherapist to carry out rehabilitation and physical maintenance for residents and to enhance the quality of care. Key Responsibilities: 1. Research and teaching projects We are seeking a Physiotherapist for the Sant Andreu de Manresa Residential Care Home to carry out rehabilitation and physical maintenance for residents and to enhance the quality of care provided to them. 1 Responsibilities related to residents, their families or designated representatives: \- Conduct physiotherapy assessments upon admission. \- Identify problems, establish objectives, and define physiotherapy treatment plans covering preventive, maintenance, and therapeutic aspects. \- Inform and involve the resident, their family members or designated representative regarding treatment objectives, taking into account their capabilities and needs related to human body functionality. \- Apply appropriate individual or group physiotherapy treatments and techniques. \- Periodically reassess residents’ functional status. \- Prepare physiotherapy reports as requested, in accordance with professional practice and technical expertise. \- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure maximum comfort. \- Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements concerning residents and respect for their right to privacy. \- Respect residents’ customs and cultural diversity. 2 Responsibilities related to the interdisciplinary team: \- Participate as an integrated member of the interdisciplinary team in work sessions aimed at developing and monitoring each resident’s care plan, jointly establishing, in consensus with the resident or responsible person, objectives directed toward maintaining or recovering functional autonomy. \- Participate in the development and periodic review of clinical protocols within the field of physiotherapy. \- Motivate care staff in functional recovery and activation initiatives for residents, in collaboration with other professionals. \- Participate in preparing the center’s annual activity report and other studies or projects, providing data relevant to the scope of professional competence. \- Develop and participate in research, teaching, and management projects in the field of physiotherapy. \- Participate in and contribute to staff training activities in clinical practice. 3 Responsibilities related to physiotherapy equipment: \- Periodically verify the suitability and proper functioning of furniture and devices used in service delivery. \- Ensure new equipment and emerging technologies meet evolving resident needs. * Minimum 6 months’ experience. \- Experience working with elderly people. \- Rehabilitation and physiotherapy tasks. * Degree in Physiotherapy. * Catalan (spoken – advanced, written – advanced). * Spanish (spoken – advanced, written – advanced). * Competencies / Knowledge: \- Adaptability to new situations. \- Active listening. \- Empathy. \- Creativity. \- Observational skills. \- Analytical thinking. \- Organizational skills. \- Teamwork. \- Problem-solving ability. * Temporary employment contract (24 months). * Part-time position (90 hours per month). * Additional information of interest: Possibility of full-time employment.
