With over 40 years of experience, SOCOTEC develops technical solutions focused on quality, safety, sustainability, and risk management, participating in high-complexity projects at both national and international levels. **JOB DESCRIPTION** At SOCOTEC Spain, we are seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our Quality Control department, assuming responsibility for the operational and organizational coordination of the laboratory. The selected candidate will serve as the liaison between clients, technicians, and laboratory staff, ensuring proper daily work planning, smooth laboratory operations, and high service quality. This position targets professionals with experience coordinating operational teams, accustomed to working in technical environments, and possessing leadership and organizational capabilities. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Management and follow-up of client notifications and incidents * Daily coordination with technicians and laboratory staff * Distribution and planning of laboratory workload * Supervision of daily laboratory order and operations * Monitoring and tracking of equipment status * Supervision of proper equipment operation and basic maintenance * Monitoring of tests related to concrete, monitoring, and installations * Coordination of the laboratory operational team * Client attention and follow-up **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS** * Prior experience managing teams * Leadership and team management capability * Strong interpersonal skills with clients and technical teams * Basic knowledge of Office applications and IT * Valid driver’s license (Class B) **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Prior experience in quality control laboratories or construction-site environments * Experience as site supervisor, operational manager, or team coordinator * Vocational training related to: + Quality Control and Laboratory Management + Chemistry + Environmental Health * Knowledge related to materials testing and quality control **CONDITIONS** * Location: Vitoria * Contract type: Permanent * Work modality: On-site * Working hours: + Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM + Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM * Benefits: + Integration into an established technical and operational environment + Job stability within an international company + Participation in quality control and technical assistance projects + Collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams
