Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas. **ABOUT THIS ROLE** Reporting into the Global FIU Supervisor, this position will support Xe’s Global Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) program. In general, Xe’s Global FIU program: * Conducts research and analysis of Xe’s Consumer and Corporate transaction activity to identify patterns and trends associated with money laundering, consumer fraud, terrorist financing, suspicious activity and other potential risks. * Prepares and submits regulatory reports as required by local regulations * Liaises with compliance and business partners to provide guidance around risks identified through the results of the analysis conducted within them team. **OUR PRINCIPLES*** **AMBITION** \- We dream big, try things out and always ask “why not?” and “what if?” We’re ambitious in our thinking and our delivery * **RESPONSIBILITY** \- We get involved, bring our perspective, and are always open to new ideas. We contribute to our community **ROLES \& RESPONSIBILITIES*** Assist in monitoring account activity for suspicious patterns, conduct suspicious activity report investigations, high risk customer reviews and recommend when to file SARs/STRs to authorities as required by regulation. * Perform customer and transaction analytics to establish trends and possible suspicious activity. * Use analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvements and efficiencies across the compliance program. * Research high risk criminal behaviors (such as terrorist financing, human trafficking etc) * Ensure timely resolution of external stakeholder requests for information (RFIs). * Become an active member on a growing team of analysts responsible for performing investigations of account activity. * Support, research and participate in internal and external reviews, audits and examinations. * Contribute to content of dashboards and visualizations to be presented to senior management. * Monitor daily investigative workflows and ensure timely completion of tasks. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS*** Recent Graduate looking to gain experience in Compliance * Have an ability to understand complex data and associated issues. * Ability to identify and communicate risks and issues that have the potential to impact the business. * Ability to contribute towards a strong professional culture at Xe * **Legal right to work in Spain** (valid work permit or residency status required) **PERKS \& BENEFITS*** Competitive market\-based salary * 23 days holiday * Medical Insurance with flexible remuneration * Lunch Vouchers * Euronet Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) We want Xe to be a great place to work and to ensure that our communities are represented across our workforce.
