Introduction We are looking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Manager for our Aiala Vidrio plant located in Llodio. This is a benchmark industrial facility within the Vidrala Group, deeply rooted in the region and firmly committed to innovation, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement of its production facilities. The Challenge Reporting to the Plant Director, the selected candidate will lead and plan mechanical, electrical, electronic, and communications systems maintenance across the plant, coordinating available human and material resources to ensure maximum productivity in terms of quality, output, and safety. Additionally, the candidate will drive improvements and modifications in facilities to enhance productive efficiency and personnel safety. Key responsibilities include: Organizing, planning, and supervising preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for general facilities. Coordinating and leading the maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and general services), fostering a positive work environment and supporting team development. Analyzing daily incidents and deviations, proposing and implementing improvement actions. Ensuring appropriate stock levels of spare parts and materials, as well as proper resource utilization. Overseeing compliance with current legal regulations, ensuring facility suitability. Managing budgets, expense orders, and investments for the maintenance area. Coordinating and monitoring work carried out by external contractors. Participating in interdepartmental technical meetings for process optimization. Identifying investment needs and proposing technical improvements to facilities. Collaborating with the central technical department in developing and implementing major investment projects. Key Requirements University degree in Industrial Engineering. 5–10 years’ experience as Maintenance Manager in an industrial plant. Proven expertise and vision in Project Management is essential. Demonstrated experience in TPM Lean (Total Productive Maintenance). Proficiency in CMMS, ERP, or other management tools. Commitment to and development of people. Leadership and team management skills. Interest in continuous learning and technological advancement.
