Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed Engineer to serve as the external technical lead, validating energy data, preparing technical diagnostics, and providing professional certification for energy efficiency projects. We solve that for you. **WHO WE ARE** We are Edorta and Asier, co-founders of WattWise and students of LEINN (Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation) at Mondragon Unibertsitatea—a university degree grounded in launching and managing real business projects from day one. We founded WattWise to help Basque Country SMEs optimize their energy consumption and access available grants. We manage the entire process end-to-end: client acquisition, facility visits, collection and structuring of consumption data, and subsidy applications. Our profiles are complementary and collectively cover the full workflow: * I lead commercial activities and client relations. With years of frontline experience, I ensure frictionless project delivery directly to your desk. * Asier, a Senior Technician in Telecommunications and IT Systems, conducts technical site visits and organizes all consumption data, equipment details, and billing information before handing them to you. There’s only one missing piece: **you.** **YOUR ROLE** You will act as the external technical lead for projects closed by WattWise with its clients. We fully understand and strictly respect the legal boundaries of our activities (Royal Decree 390/2021 and Royal Decree 56/2016\): we serve as project managers and supporting technicians; you are the qualified engineer responsible for validation, analysis, and certification. Your responsibilities will include: * Reviewing and validating the energy data we deliver—already organized and preprocessed. * Preparing the relevant technical diagnostic, energy audit, or report. * Providing the required technical signature and professional liability as mandated by regulation. **WHAT YOU GAIN BY COLLABORATING WITH WATTWISE** Turnkey projects.
