For new strategic projects based on advanced analytics and data architecture, we require a **Senior Data Engineer \& Solution Architect** in Madrid. This person will be responsible for defining and leading data architecture in cloud environments, combining solid technical expertise with strategic vision and leadership capability. The position targets professionals who enjoy designing robust and scalable solutions, acting as a technical reference and ensuring the quality of platforms supporting critical territorial analysis and strategic planning projects. The role involves close collaboration with the Technical Management team and development and analytics teams, focusing on architectural design, technical oversight, and continuous optimization of the data infrastructure. **Responsibilities** * Design and define complex data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency in cloud environments. * Serve as an internal technical reference, overseeing development activities and conducting code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices. * Implement advanced ETL/ELT processes and orchestrate production data workflows. * Collaborate with Technical Management on technology decisions and strategic milestone planning. * Lead resolution of critical infrastructure incidents and performance optimization for large-volume databases. * Define and implement CI/CD strategies focused on automating deployments of analytical and data solutions. * Ensure proper data governance and technical sustainability of platforms, minimizing technical debt. * Mentor junior and mid-level profiles, fostering technical excellence and continuous team improvement. **Requirements:** * Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields). * Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Architect, with technical ownership of complex solutions. * Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL (query optimization, modeling, and stored procedures). * Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage). * Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) and distributed processing frameworks (Spark). * Experience deploying microservices and containers (Docker, Kubernetes). * Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architectures and data governance frameworks. * Strong abstraction ability, strategic vision, and results orientation. * Excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between business and technology. **Offer:** * Join a stable company delivering strategic, high-impact technology projects. * A key role with high technical responsibility, autonomy, and visibility within the organization. * Participation in territorial analysis and strategic planning projects leveraging advanced data infrastructures. * A collaborative environment that values technical excellence, innovation, and continuous professional development. * Competitive salary range commensurate with a Senior profile in Madrid. **Location:** * Madrid
