**Description:** ---------------- Design and develop high-performance Java microservices in a modern environment. If you're looking for a solid, technology-driven, long-term project, this role is a perfect fit. **Conditions** * Permanent contract * Remote work: 100% remote from Spain. * Location: Barcelona (remote position). * Salary: Based on professional experience: 35 \- 40\.000 € g/a. * **What you will do** * Develop Java applications using Spring Boot. * Create microservices and REST/RESTful APIs. * Design and implement ETLs with Spring Batch. * Work with healthcare standards (FHIR, openEHR). * Participate in technical design and performance optimization. * Use MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and perform basic SQL operations. * Develop and optimize solutions with Elasticsearch (indices, mappings, queries). * Integrate with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka. * Create images with Docker and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions). * Contribute to observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK…). * Maintain and evolve microservices, including unit and integration tests. * Resolve complex level 2 incidents. * Maintain technical documentation and OpenAPI/Swagger. **Essential** * 3–6 years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot. * Experience in microservices and REST APIs. * Advanced use of Elasticsearch (queries, indices, optimization). **Desirable** * Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger. * Basic SQL from application. * Integration into CI/CD pipelines. * Kafka. * Knowledge of healthcare standards (FHIR, openEHR). * Intermediate Catalan (desirable, not essential). **What we offer** * Competitive salary based on experience * Permanent contract or commercial contract option * 22 working days of vacation * Flexible compensation plan: Health insurance, childcare vouchers, transportation vouchers * Training in technology and soft skills * Referral program: 500 € per recommended candidate who joins us **About Grupo Digital** We are a technology consultancy headquartered in Madrid.
