We work on international projects with financial institutions, fintechs, and startups. **About the profile** We are looking for a **Computer Software Assurance Analyst – Payments Support** to join an important banking project. You will play a key role in ensuring that all software used in payment processes complies with the highest standards of **quality**, **security**, and **regulatory compliance**. **Functions:** * Perform **risk assessments**, analysing the impact of payments software on data integrity and security. * Classify software components according to their criticality for compliance and performance. * Design and execute tests focused on critical functions (manual and automated). * Document results clearly and efficiently, supporting audits and regulatory checks. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards applicable to banking (e.g., internal IT controls, data protection). * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including IT, QA, operations, and compliance. * Translate complex technical requirements into clear deliverables for auditors and stakeholders. * Support process improvement and promote the use of modern tools (**DevOps**, **CI/CD**, test automation). **Requirements:** * Previous experience in **payments support** in a **bank** or regulated financial environment. * Strong understanding of **software validation**, **testing**, and **quality assurance** principles. * Technical skills in **COBOL**, **JCL**, and **SQL** are required. * Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., **GAMP 5**, internal IT risk frameworks). * Critical thinking and risk\-based approach to problem\-solving. * **Fluent English** is essential. * Based in **UK or Spain**, with valid work permit. **Better if you have...** * **Spanish** **is a plus.** * Knowledge of **Java**, **Micro Focus**, and testing tools like **JIRA**, **TestRail**, or **Jenkins** is a plus. * **Proactivity** * Desire for **continuous improvement** * **Empathy** and **teamwork skills** * Strong **attention to detail** and learning capacity * Clear **client orientation** **Location:** **Remote – Permanent or Contractor** (depending on your preference) Join a young consulting company and continue your professional growth and development.
