Your main responsibilities will be: Preparing the work area and organizing the surroundings; identifying and preparing necessary materials, tools, machinery, equipment, auxiliary means and individual and collective protective equipment. Setting out construction elements through measurement and elevation marking, line layout (straight, curved, perpendicular, diagonal, etc.), leveling and plumbing, placement of straightedges or sighting rods, definition of fixtures, vertical and horizontal block modular alignment, and preparation of formwork or shuttering. Bracing and installing formwork and other auxiliary elements. Installing sanitation networks. Constructing walls, partitions, pillars, retaining walls, arches, vaults, lintels, and ceramic, stone or precast concrete masonry sills. Plastering and rendering interior surfaces. Assisting other trades within the masonry field: cutting grooves, embedding elements and conduits for installations, etc. Being familiar with the use and maintenance of all materials, machinery and tools employed in the trade. Executing work cleanly, orderly and with high finish quality; using materials appropriately and economically. Collaborating in recording labor and material consumption on site. Estimating material quantities based on the performance rates of various products. Conducting periodic inspections to identify deterioration requiring repair. Complying with safety regulations and current legislation, using appropriate protective equipment.
