As part of our positioning as a leading company in the Aerospace and Defense sector, we seek to incorporate a **Senior Avionics Hardware Systems Engineer / Ingeniero/a Senior de Sistemas Hardware de Aviónica**, to participate in the **SANTAM project**, assuming a key role in **hardware architecture definition**, requirements management, and regulatory compliance assurance for critical avionics systems.
What will you do?
* Define the **hardware architecture** of aerospace electronic systems.
* Specify, manage, and maintain **hardware requirements traceability**.
* Participate in **safety analysis** and support safety processes (ARP4754 / ARP4761\).
* Provide technical supervision of **hardware design** throughout the entire lifecycle.
* Act as the **technical design focal point**, coordinating with other engineering teams.
* Ensure compliance with **DO‑254 (up to DAL‑B)** and associated standards.
* Manage and review **technical evidence** and lifecycle data.
* Participate in technical reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FDR).
* Collaborate with verification, certification, and quality teams.

✅ Degree in **Electronic Engineering** or equivalent.
✅ Experience in development of **aerospace hardware systems**.
✅ Solid experience in **hardware architecture and requirements definition**.
✅ In-depth knowledge of **aerospace regulations and safety-critical design standards**.
✅ Analytical ability, functional decomposition, and rigorous technical writing skills.
Technical Knowledge
* **Regulations and standards**: DO‑254, DO‑160, ARP4754, ARP4761, MIL‑STD, ED‑153, ED‑109, EN‑50128\.
* **Traceability** and lifecycle management.
* **Digital architectures**, communication buses, and programmable logic.
* Electronic design and high-frequency conversion.
* Functional integration and interpretation of system specifications.
* **IPC** standards and manufacturability criteria.
Functional Knowledge
* Generation of **test documentation** (plans, procedures, reports).
* Documentation per development phase (PDR / CDR / TRR / FDR).
* Analysis of **requirements vs. test consistency**.
* System architecture and solutions in Defense and Aerospace.
Valued Tools
* **DOORS, JAMA**, or other requirements management tools.
