Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and issuing technical reports on children, adolescents, and youth, assessing each minor/young person’s situation and their environment.
* Advising professionals who work directly with children, adolescents, and youth on the specific characteristics of each individual to achieve the objectives outlined in their individualized programs.
* Individually assessing the psychosocial situation of each child, adolescent, or youth.
* Facilitating better adaptation and psychosocial reintegration of children, adolescents, and youth, enhancing their assumption of responsibilities and socio-familial competence.
* Gathering information from the socio-familial environment of the child, adolescent, or youth by analyzing the most significant variables through individual or family interviews.
* Preparing social reports and establishing intervention guidelines for the child, adolescent, or youth and their environment.
* Coordinating and referring cases to social resource networks responsible for social action.
* Collaborating and coordinating joint actions with the educational team for the development of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
* Any other duties consistent with the professional activity in this specialty.
