As a **Project Manager (IL)** in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment. **Manage operationally and functionally the Projects he/she is assigned to** * Manage OEM/Tier1 Projects (Component, System with known technology components, …) in an international context from customer and Valeo side, multi\-sites/multi\-interfaces and potentially multi\-Regions including China. This is from Request For Quotation (Business Acquisition) to Start of Production then proper transfer to production \& project closure. **Is responsible for the achievement of the Project KPI in terms of profitability (both product/development vs Development Activity Payback and Extended Margin), Quality and Production Preparation** * Secure Project resources in DC and Launch Sites,and control them * Drive the Associated Pre\-Project/Platform (P2\) Actors in case of P2 not completed in the project (P1\) * Solve all project issues requiring any type of support of all suitable functions via the Project Escalation * Check and validate Project Team Members’activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestones * Define and manage his/her budget including the budget of Projects part of his/her Project * Prepare decision making process for relevant committee and challenge his project team readiness * Prepare and submit CAA and IAR (Project/System level) and challenge the P1 Project Managers or Launch Managers of the Projects part of his/her Project/System Project * Manage all project changes (internal and customer) and coordinates through his team * Is applying Design to Cost methodology * Escalate at the right level and with relevant speed/anticipation the gaps versus targets * Participate in the development, with functional managers, of all core team members from his teams * Create an interactive and efficient way of work and communication with teams and management, with positive mindset, getting accountability **Manage communication with Customers on Project development progress** * Keep client(s) updated on Project progress.) * Prepare/validate reports on Project development progress to Project Management Committees (PSC/PMC) and to all Governance stages when required * Manage customer relationship (local and central) and coordinate communication with in his team but also with P2/P1 projects associated * Ensure management of Escalation if any **Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) within the System/ Project teams and control their application** * Respect Valeo Code of ethics * Respect health, safety and environment charts and requirements * Ensure Project development in compliance with Valeo standards **Don´t miss the opportunity of joining us and take advantage of being part of an international company that commits to ethics, transparency, empowerment, professionalism and teamwork. **Job Requirements** **WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY TO DAY?** * Definition of ILS requirements: * Support the update and development of the 8x8 vehicle's Logistic Support Concept * Definition of Theoretical and Actual Configuration according to MALE/ET standard * Definition of basic engineering data * Development of FMECA and RCM studies for determining maintenance plans * Definition of maintenance tasks * Definition of maintenance routing sheets and processes * Determination of required equipment and tools for different maintenance levels * Definition of initial spare parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies provisioning list * Definition of spare parts levels required for different maintenance levels * Definition of logistical requirements throughout the planned life cycle * Definition of infrastructures required for vehicle storage and maintenance * Definition of technical documentation (and appropriate technological environment) for vehicle operation and maintenance (IETMs, AR/VR, etc.) * Definition of training needs for various vehicle operators and maintenance personnel. * Automation of logistical and sustainment information loading into the Army Logistics System * Support to OTAC 8x8 in developing technology foresight studies and pilot tests for applying these technologies in sustainment * Support, from OTAC 8x8, to OP 8x8 in testing, validation, or other required activities * Development of life cycle cost studies. **Work Experience** **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** **Minimum and Mandatory Requirements** **Education** * University Degree in one of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering.
