Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead production projects, interpret drawings, resolve technical issues, and develop solutions for packaging machinery. Key Highlights: 1. A manufacturer of packaging machinery, with offices in the Vallès Occidental region, is looking for an End-of-Line Mechanical Design Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Execute production projects defined in the work plan, coordinating and directing project management. * Interpret drawings and schematics. * Resolve technical incidents arising during departmental technical management. * Develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements for new machines and after-sales support. * Collaborate with other departments in project development, establishing information flows and interdepartmental relationships. * Ensure order, classification, and cleanliness of the workplace. * Guarantee compliance with established safety, health, and environmental measures. * Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent higher education qualification. * Minimum of five years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in machinery manufacturing and/or capital goods companies (preferably on end-of-line projects). * Solid proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and DraftSight. * High-level proficiency in Spanish, Catalan, and English. * We seek analytical, proactive, communicative, solution-oriented professionals with strong attention to detail. * Permanent contract with a sector-leading company. * Attractive compensation package. * Flexible working hours, with split shifts Monday to Thursday and a shortened Friday.
