Ensure adherence to USACE standards and joint venture agreements **Job Summary** The Construction Manager – Client Interface will serve as a trusted internal representative managing the relationship between our company, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and our joint venture partners. This role ensures seamless communication, alignment of goals, compliance with contract requirements, and efficient resolution of issues across contracting parties. This role will combine technical construction knowledge with strong contract and stakeholder management capabilities. The Construction Manager – Client Interface will play a key role in facilitating decisions and advancing project objectives while ensuring adherence to USACE standards and joint venture agreements. **Essential Functions** *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* * Serve as a primary client\-facing liaison, supporting clear, consistent, and proactive communication between internal project teams and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) representatives. * Provide construction management oversight to ensure site activities align with contract requirements, approved submittals, execution plans, and USACE standards and expectations. * Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of site\-specific safety plans; ensure preconstruction and safety\-related submittals are prepared, submitted, and maintained in compliance with contract and USACE requirements. * Advise project leadership and field teams on EM 385\-1\-1 safety requirements and their practical application throughout construction activities. * Perform regular site safety walks and project walks to assess compliance, quality of work, and overall site conditions; identify potential risks, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. * Provide the company with routine site safety and quality reports, highlighting risks, trends, corrective actions, and opportunities to enhance performance. * Support the identification, discussion, and resolution of issues related to construction means and methods, safety compliance, quality standards, and contract interpretation. * Assist the Project Manager in maintaining alignment between field operations, contractual obligations, and client direction. * Participate in progress meetings, coordination meetings, and client discussions as a trusted technical, operational, and contractual resource. * Support contract administration activities, including review of correspondence, RFIs, change\-related discussions, and the development of proposals for contract modifications, as needed. * Act as a stabilizing presence on site, helping to de\-escalate challenges, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain a collaborative and solution\-oriented working environment. * Prepare and deliver periodic reports and briefings for senior leadership and USACE stakeholders related to project status, safety, quality, risks, and emerging issues. **Work Environment** This job operates in a construction work site environment with others as well as in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and personal protection equipment. Work may require occasional weekend and evening work as well as the ability to travel domestically and internationally. **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use manual dexterity. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, speak, hear, use eye/hand coordination, and reach with arms and hands. The employee must frequently be able to work in a construction job site environment, including but not limited to working outside, excessive heat/cold, fumes/smoke/gases, walking on uneven surfaces, noise/vibrations, and working around moving equipment/machinery. The employee is frequently required to climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. **Expected Hours of Work/Travel** Ability to travel or accept full\-time assignments to any location where Bryan Construction conducts business. **Required Education and Experience** * Experience working for a general contractor in construction operations, project management, or client\-facing roles on federal projects * Experience developing and maintaining quality and safety programs * Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams * Experience reviewing project safety documentation (SDS, JHA/AHA, site\-specific required safety plans) * Experience working with the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) or federal government clients * Demonstrated experience working with USACE contracts and standards; advanced familiarity with EM 385\-1\-1 * Experience reading submittals and contract documents for inspections * Experience reviewing proposals * Experience working with change orders **Preferred Education and Experience** * Experience working as a Project Manager or Superintendent * Vertical construction experience * Experience working with senior leadership and government officials * Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships in joint venture or multi\-party environments * Familiarity with USACE processes (DAR, RFPs, SPEs, PAS, etc.) * Experience working overseas or in multi\-cultural project environments **\*\*Drug Screening and Background Investigation Required\*\*** **Base Salary Range: $80,000\-$125,000** **AAP/EEO Statement** Bryan Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
