





**Description:** ---------------- **Workplace**: Badajoz **Program**: *Reception System for International Protection through coordinated action* **Working hours**: *19.125 weekly hours, distributed from Monday to Friday* **Gross Monthly Salary**: *938.48 € (14 payments per year)* **Gross Annual Salary**: *13,138.78 €* **Contract Type:** *Substitute IT contract* **Start Date:** *Immediate* **Probation Period:** 2 *months* **Hierarchical Reporting*****:*** *International Protection Coordinator in Extremadura* **Functional Reporting:** *Technical Coordinator, Migration and Refugee Area* **JOB PURPOSE** Provide legal support by delivering information and advice regarding international protection procedures, statelessness, and other immigration-related inquiries to individuals and families participating in the project, under direct supervision of the responsible person. **FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION (NON-EXHAUSTIVE):** * Provide basic legal information on international protection procedures and immigration regulations. * Offer advice and manage procedures related to applications for international protection, including cases of inadmissibility or rejection. * Draft legal and administrative documents for case follow-up. * Prepare reports for CIAR and other competent authorities. * Conduct workshops providing information and legal advice on international protection and immigration matters. * Participate in monitoring and supervising beneficiary cases in coordination with the rest of the international protection team. * Attend team and organizational meetings and activities. * Register files of families and individuals assisted, along with follow-ups and actions taken. * Support the preparation of technical reports, program monitoring reports, and improvement proposals. **BENEFITS** * Flexible arrival and departure times. * Part-time teleworking. * 60 hours of discretionary leave, in addition to 23 vacation days (for full annual working schedules). * Opportunities for work-life balance. * Career progression and professional development opportunities. * Provision of PC and smartphone with access to M365 environment. **Requirements:** --------------- **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS** * University degree in Law. **ADDITIONAL TRAINING** * Training and/or experience in Human Rights and national, regional, and international protection mechanisms. * Advanced computer skills (Office). **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE** * Minimum of 2 years of experience in projects assisting applicants and beneficiaries of international protection. * Experience working in the field of forced migration. * Experience working in teams and within NGOs. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS** * Registration with the Official Bar Association as a practicing lawyer. **DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience working with people in vulnerable situations and/or at risk of social exclusion. * Knowledge of a second language, especially Arabic, French, or English, will be valued. * Disability certificate of at least 33%. * Gender-related expertise. **COMPETENCIES** * Commitment to the organization and strategic vision * Rigor, efficiency, and quality * Flexibility and adaptability to change * Teamwork * Participant-oriented approach * Empathy * Organizational skills * Initiative and problem-solving ability * Effective communication * Negotiation skills * Frustration tolerance * Flexibility and adaptability to change * Positive conflict management * Results orientation * Collaborative attitude
