Work in a dynamic, international, and high-level environment. **VENTURE MANAGER \- CDL SAN SEBASTIÁN** Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a globally recognized international acceleration program for early-stage scientific and technological startups, operating in the fields of quantum technologies and artificial intelligence at its San Sebastián location. Located at the Basque Technology Park and led by BIC Gipuzkoa in collaboration with IESE Business School, CDL San Sebastián is part of the global CDL network. As part of its consolidation in Donostia\-San Sebastián, the person hired by BIC Gipuzkoa will join the team as Venture Manager for CDL San Sebastián. **Job Mission** Identify, evaluate, attract, and accelerate high-potential DeepTech startups, connecting them with mentors, investors, and key resources, and ensuring rigorous tracking aimed at maximizing their growth, impact, and likelihood of success within the CDL model. **Main Responsibilities** * Identify, analyze, and select DeepTech startups, evaluating technology, founding team, market, business model, and scalability. * Intensively support startups (acceleration / venture building), defining growth milestones and KPIs and ensuring their execution. * Manage relationships with the ecosystem (mentors, investors, corporates, and DeepTech funds), facilitating high-value connections. * Conduct structured portfolio tracking: metrics, evolution, economic and technological impact, and potential return. * Prepare and structure reporting, strategic materials, pitches, and presentations for local and international stakeholders. * Contribute to the program’s operational excellence by efficiently managing processes, timelines, and tools. **Required Profile** * University education and relevant professional experience (minimum 3 years), with at least 5 years’ track record in startups, venture capital, accelerators, or innovation programs. * Full professional English (spoken and written), essential in an international setting. * Experience in strategic analysis (consulting or similar environments) and making complex decisions. * Solid understanding of how startups operate and of the venture lifecycle, with ability to analyze DeepTech business models. * Experience managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines in dynamic environments, with capacity to build and activate professional networks (networking). * Experience in reporting, structured documentation, and tracking portfolio metrics. * Strong analytical capability and critical thinking, with ability to communicate effectively with scientific, technical, and business profiles. * Tech-savvy profile, accustomed to using digital tools and data (Airtable, Salesforce, Slack or similar). * High adaptability and comfort in uncertain environments. * A hybrid background (PhD \+ business / engineering \+ MBA), an international network in DeepTech domains, and experience in global ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Oxford, etc.) will be especially valued. * Knowledge of Basque language will be valued. **What We Offer** * Join a high-impact international project within the innovation ecosystem. * Hold a key position within a globally recognized program. * Work in a dynamic, international, and high-level environment.
