




Granollers General Hospital is the university hospital of reference for the Vallès Oriental region, integrated into Catalonia’s publicly funded comprehensive healthcare system, with a staff of 2,200 professionals and currently undergoing a pivotal phase of growth and consolidation. **Workplace:** The candidate will report to the Head of the Maternal-Infant and Pediatric Nursing Department. Their mission will be to ensure patient- and family-centered care delivered with quality and safety, providing high-quality nursing care, safeguarding patient safety, and managing human and material resources in an optimal and sustainable manner. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate pediatric nursing activities jointly with the Head of the Department. * Monitor and collaborate in achieving quality objectives, implementing the nursing model and clinical protocols, as well as ensuring proper documentation by all team members. * Lead clinical expertise within assigned units and serve as the primary professional contact for patients and families, unit staff, and other healthcare professionals involved in pediatric care processes. * Ensure continuity of care across different levels of healthcare provision and foster synergy with primary care services. * Propose improvements to clinical workflows to enhance efficiency in patient care. * Promote research to support evidence-based practice and clinical projects that advance translational research, critical thinking, and reflective practice in pediatrics. * Support the professional development of nursing staff within the department, in collaboration with the Head of the Department. * Participate—alongside the Head of the Department—in onboarding new staff and students, monitoring their adaptation to the workplace. **Offered:** * Indefinite-term full-time employment contract. * Integration into the Nursing Directorate’s management team. * Ongoing training and opportunities for professional development within the specialty. * You will join a team of professionals committed to people’s health. * You will work within a multidisciplinary team, adopting a person-centered approach embedded in initiatives that implement Patient Experience as a value-added institutional priority. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing. * Knowledge of the pediatric field. * Proven clinical experience as a nurse in pediatric settings. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in team coordination and management. * Certification in Pediatric Nursing specialization. * Training in quality and patient safety. * Training in SAVAC and Business Intelligence tools. **Professional Competencies:** * Communication and influence skills * Leadership capability * People management * Teamwork * Patient- and family-oriented approach * Results orientation * Change management * Global and strategic vision
