Comprehensive development of the production process and continuous improvement This position focuses on the conservation and optimization of production equipment within a well-established industrial environment in Ólvega. The primary responsibility is to ensure the availability and optimal performance of all machinery, contributing to plant operational continuity and efficiency. The role combines preventive and corrective tasks, directly impacting the production chain and reducing unplanned downtime. Daily activities include executing scheduled preventive maintenance plans to anticipate failures and extend equipment service life. Diagnostics, adjustments, repairs, and assembly of industrial machinery are also performed, applying knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The role requires rapid response to incidents to restore functionality and minimize process interruptions. In addition to technical tasks, the position enables comprehensive understanding of the production process, with occasional collaboration in production shifts to meet operational needs. This approach helps resolve problems and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, contributing to facility safety and sustainability. Specific training in mechanics or industrial maintenance is required, providing the foundation to understand equipment operation and technically diagnose faults. At least two years of prior hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial environments is necessary to act swiftly and prioritize interventions. Applied knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is also valued to intervene across a broader range of systems, as well as basic welding skills to perform certain adjustments and repairs with versatility.
