Envira is developing the new generation of data acquisition and atmospheric monitoring systems using cutting-edge technologies in process control, gas analysis, and communications. For this, we want to build an innovative, enthusiastic, and motivated team capable of combining the latest trends in PLC programming, signal processing, #BigData, and #cybersecurity to create the platform representing Envira's new technological excellence standard. We are seeking someone passionate about challenges, experienced in PLC and HMI programming, exposed to C++, C#, database management, and unafraid to research new control solutions. **Main responsibilities include:** * Technical organization, management, and execution of automation projects related to environmental and process parameter monitoring and control. * Design, programming, and commissioning of PLC controllers from major market brands according to IEC 61131 standards and internal regulations. * Integration of typical Industry 4.0 and big data components into the control platform through driver and associated software development. * Integration of PLC platforms into IT, IIT, and OT systems. * Active participation in project commissioning and maintenance tasks, either on-site or by supporting field personnel. * Customer support regarding the developed project. * Technological and market surveillance. **Required qualifications:** * Industrial Engineering Technician degree, specialization in Electronics and Automation, or Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Higher Industrial Engineering with specialization in Electronics and Automation/Master in Electronics and Automation. Higher-level vocational training cycles related to Electronics and Automation will also be considered. * Experience with Phoenix Contact and Siemens PLCs (other brands will be considered advantageous). * User-level proficiency in electrical design software. * English language proficiency at B2 level or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced development of control and data acquisition systems using PLC platforms. Specific Software Requirements * Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 - ST * Development of SCADA systems and HMIs * Mastery of industrial communication protocols: * \* Serial, 232 & 485 * ModBus RTU & TCP * Ethernet/IP * Familiarity with TCP/IP, OPC UA, MQTT, HTTP REST communication standards * Data transmission in network architectures * Experience in automation architecture design * Knowledge of IEC 62443. * Fluency in Linux environments * Proficiency in container technology * Ability to configure networks, routers, firewalls, and VPNs * Knowledge of Javascript * Experience with SQL database operations * Scripting knowledge Specific Hardware Requirements * Field signal acquisition, processing, and control * Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and actuators * Integration of PLCs into other architectures * Development of control automation systems * Experience in commissioning industrial facilities * Execution of FAT and SAT tests * Process improvement in industrial environments * Generation of technical documentation (drawings, operation manuals, functional descriptions) * Maintenance management, technical support, and troubleshooting of existing control systems **Additional desirable qualifications:** * Highly valued experience in air quality networks (emission and immission) and/or meteorological stations. * Knowledge/work under ISO/IEC 17025 Management Systems * Knowledge of legal regulations and international standards in air quality, emissions, and low-voltage electrical installations. * Experience with project management tools
