In Villadangos del Páramo, we are seeking personnel to fill a position at an express parcel warehouse. The schedule is part-time with a temporary contract, focused on daily operations within a logistics center. The work involves receiving and organizing incoming packages: first conducting an initial sorting by destination and inspecting their condition; then performing more detailed classification according to their assigned delivery route. A key task is wrapping orders with plastic stretch film to protect them during transit. Another critical responsibility is scanning every shipment to register tracking information in the system and monitor the location of each package. Once prepared and scanned, packages must be carefully loaded into vans or trucks, optimizing available space. The pace is fast, and teamwork within the supply chain is essential. Attention to detail is required to avoid misrouting packages. The role is physically demanding, involving prolonged standing, movement throughout the warehouse, and handling packages of varying sizes and weights. The goal is to ensure daily operations proceed smoothly, efficiently, and accurately. One year of prior experience in a similar warehouse assistant role is required. Candidates must reside near the workplace location to facilitate onboarding. Possession of a forklift operator’s license and practical experience operating such equipment will be considered a strong advantage. Onboarding for this position is immediate.
