Responsibilities: * Conduct laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with and compliance with GLP, cGMP and SOP standards. * Follow all general company and laboratory-specific SOPs. * Maintain a laboratory record for all Research and Development activities as required. * Perform critical review of results and report data to supervisor. * Contribute to the preparation of protocols, final reports, investigations, and deviations when necessary and under supervision. * Demonstrate proficiency in scientific theory and apply scientific rigor within the laboratory. * Accurately and precisely analyze scientific data. * Perform routine work activities under minimal supervision. * Train new personnel on laboratory procedures. * Interact effectively with clients when necessary. * Communicate with supervisor and other colleagues regarding daily laboratory activities. * Prepare reagents and complete PTs (Work Part) for them. Check reagents for expired chemicals or remove any expired reagent. * Carry out maintenance and organization of the laboratory (e.g., decontaminate or dispose of biomedical waste or any other as appropriate, maintain laboratory supply inventories, keep work surfaces clean and orderly) and maintain maintenance records according to guidelines and SOPs. * Perform routine equipment monitoring and cleaning (e.g., centrifuges, biological and chemical safety cabinets, refrigerators, incubators and freezers) and maintain records according to guidelines and SOPs. * Place orders for reagents and consumables when necessary, using the assigned product specification procedure. * Complete all required training (Quality Assurance, Safety, etc.). Qualifications: * **Education:** Master's or Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Biological Sciences or other science-related field. * **Languages:** Spanish and English; knowledge of other languages will be valued. * **Experience (years/areas):** 0\-2 years * **Specific knowledge:** Experience in analytical laboratory and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC and UPLC) will be valued. Knowledge of analytical assays and protein assays. * **Travel:** Not required. * **Personal skills:** + Ability to evaluate technical data. + Ability to accurately and legibly record data. + Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. + Ability to perform light physical activity, lifting up to 20 pounds (9 kg) when necessary and perform tasks requiring repetitive movements.
