### **Responsibilities**
* Responsible for submitting various reports and annexes to the parent company and ensuring all information is accurate and properly supported.
* Assist and train junior financial accountants on their Santander reporting tasks.
* Identify opportunities for report automation and collaborate with the technology team to develop these improvements.
* Participate, as needed, in internal subsidiary reporting by preparing performance reports, including variance analysis and commentary on business performance and any unusual trends.
* Support, as required, audit-related activities for group subsidiaries by managing auditor request coordination and ensuring timely compliance.
* Participate in accounting functions by performing calculations and journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
* Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets in Excel to support reporting and accounting tasks.
* Support the development of a culture of ownership and accountability to identify and initiate changes that improve processes, controls, and systems.
* Proactively collaborate with all functional areas of Ebury’s global operations and external third parties, conducting analytical reviews of processes, ensuring appropriate controls are in place, and advising on improvements and efficiencies to deliver timely reports to third parties.
The selected candidate must demonstrate adaptability to a changing environment, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. The candidate must effectively collaborate and employ innovative practices to enhance efficiency across finance and the broader business.
### **Required Experience**
* Finance professional with at least **4 years of relevant experience**.
* **Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis**.
* **Knowledge of IFRS** is required.
* **Exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English** are required.
* Excellent analytical, decision\-making, and problem\-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data without compromising accuracy.
* Proven ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
