We are seeking a candidate passionate about data, automation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies, capable of transforming business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will join an innovative and multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development of internal capabilities in data engineering, applied AI, observability, governance, and operations of advanced data and AI platforms. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement use cases for automation, machine learning, generative AI, and enterprise agents, ensuring scalability, traceability, quality, security, and maintainability. * Design, develop, and industrialize batch and near real\-time data pipelines on the Data \& AI Platform, integrating industrial and document-based data sources. * Apply DataOps, MLOps, and LLMOps practices: data/model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, incident management, documentation, and orderly transition to production. * Enable analytical and AI self-service by delivering reusable components, best practices, technical documentation, training, and support for advanced users and partners. * Collaborate with business units, IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into reusable, architecture-aligned Data/AI solutions. **Minimum Requirements:** * **Academic Background:** Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, Automatic Control, Electronics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. A master’s degree or specialization in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud, Data Engineering, or advanced analytics is highly valued. * **Professional Experience:** Minimum 2\-4 years of experience in data engineering, analytical solution development, ML/AI, or cloud platforms. Experience in industrial environments, industrial technology stacks (Microsoft, AWS, Databricks), rail transport, IoT, maintenance, operations, safety-critical software, or system integration is advantageous. * **Required Languages:** Native-level Spanish and advanced English. Basque, French, German, or other languages relevant to CAF’s international business collaboration are considered a plus. * **General Competencies:** Teamwork, orientation toward internal customers and value creation, autonomy, analytical thinking, continuous learning ability, communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, commitment to quality, security, and regulatory compliance. * **Technical Competencies:** LangGraph, LLMs, AWS Cloud (Azure is a plus), Python, SQL, Spark, APIs, Git, CI/CD, Docker/containers, Databricks, Automation (N8N, Power Automate, Power Apps), Microsoft Graph and Microsoft stack, Power BI, data modeling, data quality, MLOps/DataOps/LLMOps, data and model observability, integration with corporate systems (SAP, 3DX, GMAO, Office 365, SharePoint, or others), GenAI/RAG/agents, awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practices for production deployment.
