Description

The Forklift Operator position focuses on logistics operations within a warehouse environment, specifically in the food industry. Key responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of forklifts for loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods—commonly palletized. Meticulous attention to safety procedures is required to prevent accidents and cargo damage, as well as to maintain an orderly workplace. The role involves following precise instructions to organize inventory, perform basic stock counts, and collaborate with other members of the logistics team to ensure continuous material flow. A typical day for the operator is characterized by physical activity and concentration, as they must operate machinery in sometimes confined spaces and under delivery deadlines. The ability to interpret work orders, product labels, and shipping documents is essential. Additionally, the position may require performing auxiliary tasks such as order picking, basic packaging, or assisting with goods receipt. Adaptability is key, as priorities may shift rapidly depending on production or distribution needs. The work environment is dynamic and requires strict adherence to food hygiene and safety standards—particularly relevant in the food industry. The operator contributes directly to the supply chain by ensuring products are handled correctly to preserve quality. Proactive reporting of equipment or stock incidents, as well as willingness to learn and implement improvements to established logistics processes, are highly valued. This position is offered in the municipality of Mollerussa. The company will provide specific training on safety and internal procedures. Work will be carried out in a warehouse environment with appropriate protective measures. Working hours will follow established shifts, which may include variable schedules. A personal vehicle is required for commuting. Availability to work on Saturdays and/or certain public holidays, as well as flexibility to cover full or split shifts, is necessary. The minimum academic qualification required is a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle. Demonstrable knowledge of forklift operation is mandatory, along with at least one year of verifiable experience in a similar role.
