The Josep Jaques Family Home in Mollerussa, managed by the Franciscan Brothers of the White Cross, is seeking to hire an Occupational Therapist to join its interdisciplinary team providing care for elderly people. The selected candidate will participate in the assessment, planning, and implementation of interventions aimed at maintaining and enhancing residents’ autonomy, functional capacity, and quality of life, working collaboratively with other professionals at the center. Assess residents’ functional, cognitive, and occupational capacities. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy programs. Design and facilitate cognitive, functional, and sensory stimulation activities, both individually and in groups. Support the maintenance of personal autonomy in basic and instrumental activities of daily living. Advise on assistive devices, environmental adaptations, and prevention of dependency situations. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate in developing and monitoring Individualized Care Plans (ICPs). Document interventions carried out and prepare professional reports specific to the field. Collaborate with residents’ families and other professionals to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care. * Minimum 2 years’ experience. Experience in the disability and dependency sector * Occupational Therapy * Competencies / Knowledge: Knowledge of geriatrics, dementias, and person-centered care (PCC). Ability to develop and monitor individualized intervention plans. Skills in interdisciplinary teamwork and coordination with other center professionals. Capacity for organization, planning, and time management. Empathy, active listening, initiative, and orientation toward residents’ well-being. Basic computer skills and experience recording data in socio-healthcare management applications.
