




**Description:** ---------------- Reporting to the Production Department, your mission will be to cooperate with the maintenance team to ensure proper operation of looms and other machinery by performing appropriate preventive or corrective maintenance. The mechanic will also be responsible for carrying out product changeovers on machines, verifying that the tape produced conforms to the technical specifications and meets the required quality standards. KEY FUNCTIONS: * Ensure proper functioning of looms and other machinery. * Perform appropriate preventive or corrective maintenance on looms and other machinery. * Carry out product changeovers on machines. * Verify that the tape produced conforms to the technical specifications and meets the required quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on looms and all other machines present in the factory, actively participating in communication and addressing any incidents arising during production to meet established OEE targets. * Manage loom stoppages and ensure their control, reducing repair waiting times and ensuring effective repairs. * Fabricate and/or modify parts for machine repair or improvement and calibrate work equipment. * Analyze and resolve faults, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic issues. * Assist in creating maintenance records and report daily activities. * Participate in various continuous improvement projects. * Conduct machine inspections to identify and solve problems proactively according to the team's established maintenance plan. * Create and keep updated preventive and corrective maintenance manuals, verifying their maintenance and/or updates. * Support and train mechanics to achieve set objectives, especially in cases of new hires. * Assist and collaborate in spare parts management. * Carry out product changeovers on looms. * Ensure the final product complies with the specifications outlined in the technical sheet and meets the required quality standards. * Monitor products after they are put into operation to ensure long-term performance. * Control the quality and efficiency of the loom. * Carry out product changeovers on looms. Control the quality and efficiency of the loom. * Follow workplace health and safety regulations and procedures. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation. **Requirements:** --------------- PROFILE: * Intermediate Vocational Training (CFGM) in Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, or Higher Vocational Training (CGFS) in Electromechanics or equivalent qualification. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery. * Availability to work 40 weekly hours on three rotating shifts, or four shifts if activated (occasionally). * Technical skills: o Electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic knowledge. o PLC knowledge desirable (not essential). o Experience with dobby looms desirable. * Generic skills: o Proactivity. o Problem-solving ability. o Flexibility. o Planning and organization. o Teamwork. o Conflict management.
