The fischer Power-Fast II FPF II PZF BC is a blue-passivated galvanized screw with full thread and PZ 3 drive. The electro-galvanizing process contains no hexavalent chromium and is therefore highly environmentally friendly. The screw with its semi-circular countersunk head cannot sink into wood. The Power-Fast II with high-performance wax coating reduces screwdriving torque and also allows screwing close to edges without any issues. The particleboard screw exhibits significantly reduced splitting behavior compared to other commercially available screws. Full-thread screws are recommended for fastening thin components and in less dense wood-based materials (e.g., softwoods). The continuous thread along the entire screw length ensures optimal power transmission. The screw with semi-circular head is particularly suitable for metal-to-wood connections, for example when fastening metal fittings, angle brackets, or beam shoes.
