




**DEPARTMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Will communicate to their direct supervisor, in an appropriate manner, any improvement opportunities affecting the hotel, their department, or its mission. * Will comply with departmental standards and procedures, as well as those applicable to all hotel employees. * Will meet deadlines for assigned tasks, maintaining a high level of performance and adhering to the quality standards of a 5-star luxury hotel such as Marbella Club. * Supports and contributes by participating in daily and monthly work plans, ensuring established objectives are met. * Properly uses kitchen goods and utensils, ensuring they are in perfect condition and reporting any anomalies detected. **JOB-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Breakfast preparation. Show cooking. Juices. Prepare breakfast mise en place for the following day. * Preparation of poolside menu. * Preparation of Kid’s Club meals. * Provide service to Room Service. * Assist the chef or station chef. * Maintain cleanliness in their work area and personal uniform. * Prepare mise en place at Beach Club. * Distribute orders at the Beach and McBeach buffets. * Work in accordance with the hotel's cleanliness standards. **PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS** * Works well in a team. * Enjoys achieving goals. * Must have good communication skills. * Requires a continuously improvement-oriented attitude. * Is responsible for their work. **SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE** * Professional experience as a kitchen assistant (commis). * Knowledge of fresh produce (meats, fish, fruits, and vegetables) and basic kitchen preparations. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** * Adapt schedule to shifts and days off according to agreement. * Ability to operate vehicles. Class B1 driver's license. * High-risk food handling certificate.
